We facilitated the introduction of Gamuda, a prominent Malaysian developer, and Singapore-based QIP, culminating in a landmark £100m joint venture. This partnership will see QIP, alongside UK-based co-developer Hurlington Capital, deliver a transformative purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Woolwich, London. As the first PBSA development within this key regeneration area, the project will provide 299 beds, comprising 150 studios and 149 cluster rooms, addressing a growing demand for high-quality student housing. With demolition now complete, construction is set to commence in Q3 2024, and the accommodation is scheduled to welcome students for the 2026/27 academic year, marking a significant milestone in Woolwich’s ongoing redevelopment.
“
Cameron was instrumental in helping curate and implement our new PBSA Strategy. This first deal is a significant milestone for Gamuda, and we look forward to working with MPO more in the future”
